Robinson Salvage - Company Profile

Robinson Salvage was established in 1989 with one location in Bowdon, GA. Its main source of merchandise at that time was distressed railroad salvage. As the business began to grown in the early 90's, the need to open up more sources of buying goods led us into the buying of insurance salvage. The excitement for customers of being able to buy goods from a hurricane in Miami, items from the earthquakes in California, or merchandise from a fire in New York really started to establish Robinson Salvage as an "Adventurous" place to shop.

Because of the high demand for more merchandise and the need for larger retail floor space, the 90's saw Robinson Salvage open a total of five retail outlets in the West Georgia area. We also moved into a larger warehouse to accommodate our need to process our salvage purchases.

As Robinson Salvage entered the year 2000, it combined its retail operations into larger stores reaching over 60,000 sq. ft. of floor space. A customer visiting any Robinson Salvage store will find a wide variety of salvage merchandise purchased from insurance salvage, close-outs, store returns, truck wrecks, or even bankruptcies. All of the merchandise that we purchase are brought into our stores at a significant discount off of the normal retail. We keep track of every item in our stores so that we can aggressively mark our goods down to pass the savings on to our customers. Our goal is to always be cheaper than the normal retail chains.
